CySlice is a tool for the post-processing of dense polymeshes, allowing the user to fit simplified SUBD or quadmeshes over the top, and then displacement or normal maps can be extracted to capture the original dense mesh detail. Click here for an example.
As part of the Networks module, templates can be developed to speed up the construction of surfaces for similarly shaped objects, and this can also be used to create clean morph targets. Click here for an example.
The Render module supports multiple CPU and nodes, allowing many UV tiles to be extracted simultaneously over render farm architecture. The displacement maps extracted are of the highest quality, supporting many parameters for ray direction and surface smoothing, and bleed pixels are extrapolated from adjacent geometry to minimize seam artifacts.
